Fantastic location, nice employees, breakfast at the top with service at the table. Room was well furnished with all the amenities you may need. The design modern and relaxing. King size bed was very comfortable. Only complaints are about the availability of the room at checkin for which we waited 40 minutes in the lobby and the late cleaning during the stay (the room was cleaned only at 4.30 pm...). Also someone could be disappointed from some noise coming from the passing trams, but it didn't bother us. Overall a great place, we would return if in the area.

I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. We were greeted with two small pastries and a small bottle of wine to compliment the dessert for free. We were given two free drinks to try at the rooftop bar which has spectacular views. The room was really big for a European standard room, the bathroom was immaculate. The included breakfast was delicious. Location was perfect, 5 minutes to all the nearby restaurants and 10 minutes to the coast. Highly recommend staying here, it was absolutely spectacular.

This is such a great place to stay when visiting Lisbon! The staff are welcoming, friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and, important for a good night's sleep, quiet. The hotel is centrally located, so handy for walking to the various areas of the city, or for the Metro service if you want to venture further out. The staff were superb: the desk staff, breakfast service, the cleaners ... great people, and the hotel should be proud of them. Lisbon is an amazing city to visit, and the enjoyment of our own visit was enhanced by our stay at Hotel Portugal.

As a family of 4 from Greece [2 rooms booked] we had a perfect experience at this fabulous little hotel.It suited us perfectly. The reception staff were most helpful & really gave us some great tips.The rooms were wonderful & most spacious...everything we needed was there.The Nespresso machine/pods was great as I really need my coffee before breakfast!!! Breakfast served[Breakfast served until 11am was a great idea] was well organised and the staff were all so helpful and the choice was more than enough too.We will definately be back as we had the best experience staying here.The location was just perfect and nearby to everywhere..the food market[it was packed with locals & tourists every day we went...we had a real great experience with the local food here] & all our sight seeing trips worked out better than what we expected.Thank you for that nice experience.

This hotel is definitely worth the stay in this very busy city filled with thousands of tourists. It's very serene and comfortable, the service is impeccable and the food delicious. The rooms are large by European standards and very clean. The staff definitely go out of their way to cater to your every need.

Had a lovely stay. Very clean, spacious room. Beds were a little hard for our taste but still comfortable and nice pillows. That of course is subjective as well! Staff was very friendly and breakfast was lovely. My only complaint is the default breakfast was way to much food and we felt very wasteful.

Loved this hotel! The room was beautifully decorated. The bed was comfortable. The oversized tub was perfect for two. Vibrant colors, very romantic. Port and pastries upon arrival and Ginjinha for our send off. The breakfast was exceptional. Great location.

Hotel Portugal is in a perfect location just 2 mins walk from Rossio subway station, and it’s walk distance to lots of attractions, restaurants. We stayed here for 3 nights, all staffs were all very friendly and helpful, room was very clean …
